How do I get more Add-Ons on my Pledge?

You’ll be able to select add-ons AFTER THE CAMPAIGN ends in a post-campaign survey by Backerkit. You’ll also be able to add all the mods in the campaign plus other items and enter your shipping address.

How do I adjust my Pledge?

Your card is not charged until the campaign closes, so you can edit your pledge at any time: 1. Log into Kickstarter and go to the HUB by ALPAKA campaign page. 2. Click either of the ‘Manage Your Pledge’ buttons.
Note: You can also hover over your Pledge Level, it will change to a MANAGE YOUR PLEDGE button. 3. Select a different available pledge level, or manually edit your pledge amount. We’ve partnered with BackerKit, so you’ll have a chance after the campaign closes to specify what the additional pledge money is for. At that time you can also add additional items, choose your mods, and manage your mailing address. We’ll post an update before the survey is sent.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping varies from country to country. There is just a small surcharge applied at checkout. Simply click on the pledge and select your delivery country, you will automatically see what the shipment costs are for your selected country.

How many keys can I fit into the HUB Keychain?

You can fit up to 8 keys comfortably.

How many cards does the HUB Cardholder fit?

It fits up to 4 cards in the 2 laser-cut slots and 2 cards in the front section.

Yes, the HUB Sanitizer Holder comes with a bottle for your hand sanitizer, the bottle holder and the HUB Clip.

Yes, they are safe.

Do you offer a warranty and/or returns?

The HUB comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. Any manufacturing issues will be covered under this warranty. We don’t however, process returns for the pledges. This is best explained by Kickstarter: “Kickstarter is not a store. It’s a way to bring creative projects to life.” That being said, we are getting a great deal on high-quality products and if any issues arise we’ll be transparent with you and we’ll go out of our way to make sure you’re satisfied.

What payment methods do you accept?

On Kickstarter, you can use a debit or credit card associated with Visa, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, UnionPay, or American Express. Discover, UnionPay, and JCB cards are currently only accepted for US-based projects. Kickstarter currently does not accept Maestro or Visa Electron cards. If using a pre-paid credit card, please make sure that the card has a value of at least $1 more than your pledge amount.

Can I pay extra to get an earlier delivery?

This is unfortunately not possible. It is not a matter of extra costs, but a matter of making sure that we ship out all the bags in the most efficient way as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions to this process as it will delay all the other shipments.

Will I have to pay duties/VAT to receive my order?

We will do all we possibly can to prevent this from happening, but any applicable duties/VAT are the sole responsibility of the backer. We have absolutely no control over the additional duties/VAT that may or may not be charged in your country. If you are unsure whether or not you will be charged duties/VAT at the time of receiving your perk, please get in touch with your local post office. The bags will be shipped from China, this will help you to calculate the costs.

Where can I fill in my delivery address?

At the end of the project, we will send out a survey to all our backers. In this survey, we will collect all the needed data such as your delivery address. We will also send out an email to all backers right before we will send out all the packages to make sure this delivery address is still up to date.

Will we receive a tracking number for our shipment?

All backers will receive a personal tracking number with which they can trace their shipment.

Can I cancel my pledge and get a refund?

While the campaign is live, yes, you’ll be able to cancel your pledge at any time. After the campaign is over, we’re unable to process any refunds.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
